I've probably written near to 100 poems, and this one is the only one I am truly truly proud of. I wrote this some time last year, I don't remember when and I just realized I had a place to post it.
Exlplosions
Too good to care make your plans and keep them Destroy the thought of freedom A push, a shove, ignored Let the flame of fear ignite.
Watch it explode begin to implode the whole of itself exhumed Feel it erode A soul on its own In a plan of destruction sold.
Scratch out the truth rewrite the words continue to spread a sense of fear A fear that controls the minds of the naive.
Scramble our thoughts youre too blind to see the devestation and shame you have put on our lives.
Aye, quite good. I'm not terribly much a poetry man myself, but that's still good. Particularly liked the 'watch it explode/begin to implode' bit.

No proof though. Just a hunch."
Yes, I suppose it's quite lyrical because it was originally intented to be a song, but never really made it so I still regard it as a poem.
People often ask me if it was Muse inspired, and I guess you could say it was seeing as at the time that I wrote it I was listening to muse non-stop, but it wasn't intentional haha.
