Update 1

* Rose lightly stepped out of the shower and ran a towel through her hair. She didnt think anywhere in the universe that she could get a better shower than on the TARDIS, it was always perfect. It just added to Roses sneaking suspicion that the TARDIS was psychic. She took the fluffy white towel and wrapped it around her curves tightly and left the bathroom. The machine had so many rooms and corridors that it was unlikely that she would run into the only other person on board and even if she did, she didnt necessarily mind him seeing her this way. After, god, has it been almost 2 years already, the two had gotten to know each other fairly well. It sort of came with the territory. You just couldnt go through the end of earth, evil aliens, a regeneration, a few other nasty bits and a fuming mother without talking a bit. Of course, those long hours of floating through the vortex and just talking lead to Roses current and ever present complication. His mind fascinated her. It never quit. He was always off somewhere in his mind, yet always with her whenever she needed him to be. And it seemed like more and more, she always needed him. Every time she thought that she lost him, it gutted her, rocked her to her core. Yet, he always came back, she always knew he would be back, but even the thought that he wouldnt was too much to bear. She just didnt work without him.
Rose pushed those thoughts from her head. It was a bright, pure morning, at least she thought so, one could never tell on the TARDIS. Her room was only a short walk down the corridor and it bothered her to have to pick out her clothes right away. These few minutes, and hour at most, that she had to herself were not to be rushed. Soon enough she would be running for her life or getting soaked or attending high profile parties, and she needed a small amount of time to just be herself, unwind and be a girl. Ugh, she wished the Doctor would see her like that. A girl, a female, a woman. Instead, she was as genderless as K-9, just someone to bring along who helps out sometimes. She didnt even know why she bothered with the towel. Combined with the fact that there was about a one in a billion chance that the Doctor was actually walking towards this corridor, Rose was fairly certain that even if he did see her stalkers, it wouldnt matter.
Rose didnt realize where she was going. Her feet were just walking, trusting that the TARDIS would reconfigure to bring her to her room. It wasnt until she ran into something quite solid that she realized that she wasnt anywhere near her room. The impact made her lose her footing and if those arms wouldnt have been there, she probably would have let everything be shown to the universe. Those arms. They had rescued her so many times, and now once again, from pure embarrassment. The arms brought her close to the body and steadied her, not yet letting go.
Whoa, steady. You alright? the Doctor said. She had ran into the Doctor. Her feet, or the TARDIS, had betrayed her, bringing her right out into the control room. She looked up into his deep, kind eyes and only then realized that he was still holding her wet and practically naked body close. He smiled down at her as she regained her footing. She pulled away and immediately regretted it, the chill of the air replacing the heat from his body. Oh, yeah. Sorry. Lost in my thoughts, didnt realize where I was going, she hastily explained as the blood rushed to her cheeks. Nah, its fine. Just going to find you anyway. I got a surprise for you. Im taking you someplace special, some place wonderful. I found it when we were stuck helping Reinette and Ive been dying to take you there. I think youll love it, a nice holiday for a change. But you might  want to change youre choice of attire. I mean,  I dont mind but the locals might think you some sort of prostitute or my mistress or something, and I know how much you hate being the feral child the Doctor said all in one breath. It was a good thing Rose had gotten used to this doctors finesse for speech or else his slip of I dont mind would have been lost on her. Where are we going? she asked. The Doctor just smiled at her, turned on the balls of his feet, and walked back to the console.
There it was again, in the back of her mind, gnawing away at her. Even as she simply walked the correct way to her room, it wouldnt let her go. His mind was the one thing that didnt change, he was a brilliant and cunning as ever. But she had to admit, this new new Doctor was something to look at.  He had softer features than the other one. A bit less serious when they werent in mortal peril, more relaxed. His eyes were deep pools that contained the universe, so young and so bright. But the way they crinkled when he smiled revealed his age, his wisdom. They were comforting. And this one had hair. Beautiful, thick hair that she just wanted to run her fingers through. He was taller than the old one too, only slightly. Or maybe it was the fact that this one preferred well fitting pin-striped suits to leather jackets. Those suits were almost too much to handle, the way they hugged all the right places, giving just enough shape for the female mind to wander. And it wasnt hard for the mind to wander, especially with his new found oral fixation. Always licking or tasting or sucking on things, putting his fingers in is mouth, oh how Rose wished he would fixate on her
If she kept this up, she was going to need another shower. She entered her room and started to rummage through clothes, trying to find something to follow up her near nakedness of minutes past.
The Doctor turned his head slightly and watched her exit down the corridor. It wasnt until her knew she was out of earshot that he breathed, sliding down the console to the floor. What was she doing to him? His brain raged on, trying to logic out what had just happened. Did she really get lost in her mind or was this a well played move? His body agreed with the latter, convinced that she was trying to seduce him and had finally taken out the big guns. But his mind, his head said no. She had been doing that a lot lately, off in her own little world in her head. He could hardly blame her; meeting her father, being screamed at by her mother, almost becoming a Cyberman, losing Mickey, it was a lot for her to process. But they had talked about it. He supposed that, by his guess, it had only been a few days, but they had talked it through. She seemed fine by the end of the conversations. That was the one thing he promised himself he would start doing; talking to Rose about their trips. After he had heard from Sarah Jane about how she couldnt adjust back to earthly living, he finally figured out that even though he understood every trip and every planet, his companions were human. Only human. And humans talked about things to come to terms with their life events. Humans talked about their feelings. So, why, if Rose was trying to seduce him, did she not just come right out and tell him? Because she doesnt fancy me and Im just being the over logical alien that I am he said to himself. But all that talking about what happened at this place or that time period had done something the Doctor had not anticipated. He started to feel her. He felt when she was there and even more when she wasnt. He started to know how she felt and all he wanted was to make her feel happy because if she was, then he was. He started to know every quirk, every step, every word that came from her. And it was in those long nights of talking that he knew something else.
Oh no, she never said it out right. Barely even mentioned a word. But he knew from the days after his heroic rescue of Reinette he had hurt Rose. He had broken the promise he make to Jackie, that Rose wouldnt get hurt, and it was in the worst possible way. At the time, all he knew was that he had to save Reinette, that history had to go on and if it didnt, horrible things would happen. Mickey was there, everything should have been fine. He even engaged the hologram to play in the TARDIS if Rose had stepped in it. But she didnt. She waited five and a half hours and would have waited more if she had to. It was right then and there that he realized that he didnt just choose between the slow path and timelessness, between his reality and the one adventure he could never have, he chose someone he had known for maybe a day over Rose. Rose wasnt Reinette. Rose wasnt the uncrowned Queen of France, she didnt paint, or act, or was a fantastic gardener. Rose wasnt the most elegant of women. But she was something much more important, much bigger. She was a Time Lords companion. She understood him and the life he lead. She took the good and all the bad, she lived in worlds of cold steel and infinite danger and never complained, never questioned. She had taken care of him when his regeneration went awry and he left her at the first sign of a blonde in an corset. He would never forgive himself for that, even if she had.
Why are you sitting on the floor? Roses voice called from the door. The Doctor snapped out of his thoughts  and looked at her. She had changed into  a more appropriate denim skirt, black tights, turquoise fitted t-shirt and his favorite black boots of hers. His eyes raked over her body and his mouth went very dry. Doctor? Why are you on the floor? she asked again as she closed the gap between them and kneeled in front of him. He looked around himself and it suddenly occurred to him that he had no idea why he was on the floor. He looked up into her eyes, full of concern. All he could do was smile at her. She grinned a bit. No reason, just thinking he said as he bounced up and started fiddling with the knobs of the console, Dont you want to know where Im taking you? Well, lets see. Are we going back to London because that would be a nice change of pace for once Rose said sarcastically. Its not my fault if your city always is the one in the entire universe that needs to be saved. If you dont like it, we could just stop going and see how Harriett Jones does without us. retorted the Doctor , Oh, wait, we already did that, and if I remember correctly, we still had to come back and fight for Earth. Nah, dont fancy doing that again any time soon. Were going someplace better. The Doctor pulled the final lever with a flourish and the TARDIS came to life, shuttering beneath their feet. Some place better than London? Are you sure about that? Rose said as she circled the console. The ship landed on a solid surface without much delicacy and Rose couldnt help stumbling into the Doctor for the second time that day. He looked down at her and smiled as she looked up at him. Rose Tyler, this ones for you. All she could do was smile at him. He set her upright and headed for the door as she followed. She couldnt help but wonder where in the entire universe the Doctor would take her for a special treat. He made it sound like traveling with him was some huge chore that she endured and this is how she was to be rewarded. He opened the door for her and motioned for her to step outside. What she stepped out onto, she wasnt quite sure. It felt like grass, but it was a soft purple color. Rose bent down to pluck a blade and inspect it. Its grass The Doctor answered from behind her. But its purple She said. Well, then, dont turn around and look out over the ocean He said. Rose quickly turned around and couldnt believe what met her eyes. The water was a forest green, and it stretched out as far as she could see. On the horizon it met with a soft pink sky. Doctor, what is this place? Rose said. He offered her his hand and the two started walking inland. Were on a planet called Capri and the only reason that everything is different colors than on Earth is because the light reacts differently to nature here. Their sun gives off a slightly different spectrum. If you took some of this grass to Earth, it would look totally unremarkable, but it would die because it couldnt react with your sunlight to sustain itself. He explained. So why is my shirt still turquoise and your suit still brown? She asked. Because theyre not part of nature. The light only messes with the colors in nature, so no matter what, youll always be all pink and yellow. Anyway, this isnt what I really wanted to show you. I have some very old and dear friends here and I thought you would like meeting them he said. Real friends or like alien race you havent seen in years who have a grudge against you and want to kill us friends? Rose asked suspiciously. The doctor just looked at her and smiled. Real friends. Rose, welcome to Capri Castle
They stepped over a hill and the castle revealed itself. Rose couldnt believe her eyes and couldnt help but to laugh. The Doctors face fell as he asked Whats so funny? Rose looked at the castle and back to him. Nothing really except that this is Cinderellas castle from the Disney movie. Rose explained.

FINALLY GOT TO READING IT!
Aren't you glad I introduced you to teh Doctor?

Very nice wifey. I love the whole light relflection concept. very bright.

Only critique would be that with out quotes its a bit hard to read. But well, that's the boards problem. I'd say just start a new line everytime a new person speaks and it wil be much easier on the eye.

POST MORE! I know you have it!
